Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to view files saved as Acrobat (or postscript document; .pdf) files. A must-have application that doesn't cost anything.

ScreenForge is a template with macros for writing screenplays on MS Word.
Real Player G2 is also a nice program to have. It plays the very popular Real-media files which have streaming video, audio, or both. This link takes you to the free download. There is also G2 Plus that has more bells and whistles -- and costs money.

You might also want to try Windows Media Player.
