Paradise Island

Once someone named A.J. was walking down a place called Paradise Island. Then a HUGE eagle swooped down from the sky! The eagle could talk with a gift! It said hop on; I’ll give you a ride! A.J. hopped on the eagle’s back. They flew to a place that was beautiful. A.J. looked all around him. There were beautiful glimmering things around him. Then they went back to Paradise Island. The eagle took A.J. to his house. Three months later A.J. saw the eagle carrying hard balls in his claws, putting them in the sky as the shape of a belt. A.J. called it “the belt in the sky” because it looks like a belt. Many people saw the belt in the sky at night. The belt in the sky was given a new name. The name was the asteroid belt because the hard balls were called asteroids. The eagle made another asteroid belt. The people of Paradise Island did not know what to call the asteroid belt. A boy (A.J.) said, “How about Orion’s Belt because there are stars around the belt that look like the god Orion?” The people agreed and made the asteroid belt Orion’s Belt. And the eagle never made another asteroid belt again.
